What exactly will you be installing?
We install a Heat Computer, a sensor network (wireless apartment temperature sensors and hallway transceivers), a water meter, boiler coil and domestic hot water temperature sensors, and chimney stack temperatures. All of this equipment works together to save money and improve tenant comfort.
Can I view and adjust my heating systems myself?
Yes, our web and mobile based platform allows you to view your systems anywhere at anytime and on many different devices.
Will you train my team?
Yes! While we do all the heavy lifting, our team of trained boiler experts will teach your team how to work with us and the new heating control systems.
How will my super and tenants benefit from this?

How long does it take to get up and running?

What happens if the control loses internet connection?
Every installation includes an automatic reset switch so any dropped connections are brought back online immediately. If for some reason the modem fails, there is a fallback mode so that the boiler can be locally controlled until the connection is restored.
What if the equipment stops working?
Heat Watch will repair or replace any equipment that does not work at no extra cost to you, as long as it is not caused by vandalism or unauthorized tampering. If an apartment sensor goes down, replacing the sensor’s AA battery usually does the trick. Batteries should last 1-3 years between replacements.
The boiler is down. What do I do?
If your boiler is down you should contact your boiler service company. If you have any problems with heating, Heat Watch is available 24/7 to help.
Who will communicate with me/inform me when issues arise?
Our team will be monitoring your boilers 24/7, and we’re always available whenever you have an issue. We also set up custom alerts that automatically notify you when issues arise so you know exactly what is happening.
